Richard Dell Dumas

Richard Dell Dumas was born May 11, 1971, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Dell Dumas and Myra Fay Carter (Dumas). Richard passed away on April 7, 2025, at home in West Valley, Utah, at age 53 from CHF and COPD complications. He studied business management at the University of Phoenix online for 1 1/2 years. He did this while pursuing his career truck driving, which he had done for the past 35 years. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, anything to be in the mountains.

Richard is survived by April, his 8 children Robert, Alex, James, Rachelle, Angel, Lisa, Shelby, and Luis. His 3 grandchildren Eli, Hazel, and Liam. His mom Myra, siblings David, Bryan, DJ, and Danielle. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He loved seeing and talking to his loved ones especially Gina and David Dumas and their two boys Dustin and Derek Dumas along with his sister Danielle and her son and his mom, Myra and Aunt Sarah and Uncle Rex.

He’s preceded in death by great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, dad, and his brother just older than him. A celebration of life in honor of Richard will be held at a later time. Please check back later for these details.
