1963 - 2026

In Loving Memory

Teresa Ann Mabey, born July 20, 1963, in Boise, Idaho, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, from a very aggressive autoimmune disorder.

Teresa’s vibrant personality brought light and energy wherever she went. She was truly the life of the party, full of laughter, warmth, and a spirit that made everyone feel welcome. She loved deeply and lived fully.

Her greatest joy in life was her grandson, Brennen. She loved him more than anything and never missed a chance to show up, cheering from the sidelines and proudly attending his sporting events. She cherished every moment she got to be his biggest fan.

Teresa also had a special love for her dog, wild horses, camping trips, and boating on the lake.

She was happiest with her dog, Eddie, and her grandson, Brennen, camping and exploring Silver City, Idaho. Whether she was outdoors, listening to music, or gathered with family and friends, Teresa treasured the simple moments spent with the people she loved most.

She leaves behind her beautiful daughters, Samantha Dee Cafferty and Stephanie Lavon Azich; her grandson, Brennen Cafferty; her father, Harry Edgar Mabey; her sister, Tamara LaRue Reddin; and her brother, Glenn Dee Mabey. She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn LaRue Kistler; her grandparents, Lewis Aaron Kistler, Grace Iva Beers, Edgar Dale Mabey, and Bertha McGuire; as well as several aunts and uncles. Her love, strength, and vibrant spirit will live on through all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to join us for a Celebration of Life on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Caldwell First Baptist Church, 221 E. Linden St., Caldwell, Idaho.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Owyhee County Historical Society, where Teresa loved donating her time.
