Tony Joseph Trujillo Jr

Tony Joseph Trujillo Jr., age 30, passed away on April 23, 2026, after a valiant battle with kidney failure.

He was born on December 22, 1995, in Salt Lake City, to Jessica Brown and Tony Trujillo Sr.

Tony was a gifted artist, a proud and loving father, and the best big brother! He loved his six sisters very much!

He was quick-witted and charismatic—a self-proclaimed “pimp,” always creased up!

Tony knew how to get his way with anything and everything. He lived his life boldly, unapologetically, and beautifully.

He was an exceptional, award-winning tattoo artist. He traveled the world, transforming skin into living canvases, blending color and meaning with every design. Tattooing was his passion.

He found joy in building model cars, playing board games, fishing, watching movies with loved ones, listening to music, building RC cars, ripping hella Pokémon packs, and building badass Lego sets.

He lived off sticky white rice bowls and had a tremendous love for Mexican candy and chicken noodle soup. He was also a Starbucks pumpkin spice frappe-aholic.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, courage, and a reminder to always shine, no matter the darkness.

Tony is survived by his mother, Jessica; his father, Tony; his sisters, Alyson, Teara, Donja, Angelica, Shandi, and Savvy; his children, Troy Trujillo, Nilla Trujillo, Bentley Trujillo, Braylee Trujillo, and Antonio Trujillo; and his girlfriend, Gabrielle Nehring.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nilla Sleater, and loved ones Afton Jensen, David Haslam, and Lucy Cisneros.

A celebration of life will be held on May 16, 2026, at Guadalupe Park (Rose Park).
